Bristlecone Pines

Among the most ancients inhabitants of Great Basin National Park are the Bristlecone Pines. Some of these trees have lived for other 5,000 years! On the S2S team’s first day, they hiked to the Bristlecone Grove, just short of Wheeler Peak. This was an opportunity for the team to bond, get familiar with the park, and prepare for the hiking in the days ahead.
