S2S presents to the New York Outdoor RX Coalition!
Michael Cohn and Alixandra Lewis had an amazing opportunity to present to the New York Outdoor RX Coalition! During their presentation, they introduced information about citizen science activities and conservation work available for all ages in the state of New York. A number of valuable partnerships have emerged as a result of this presentation, and S2S is extremely grateful to Joe Hunt, Director of New York RX, for his willingness to host Soldiers2Scientists.
This presentation is part of a broader effort to expand S2S work in the state of New York. With S2S taking over management of American Kestrel Nest Boxes at Hempstead Plains and our ongoing partnership with South Shore Audubon, Executive Director Michael Cohn hopes to continue to build a network of stakeholders interested in getting veterans involved in citizen science while promoting conservation objectives in the state.
