S2S receives the Jerry Liguori Scholarship from Hawkwatch International

S2S has been fortunate to be awarded the Jerry Liguori Scholarship from Hawkwatch International. This scholarship provides $3500 dollars for S2S to rejuvenate the aging American Kestrel nest box network at Manassas Battlefield Park and the Shenandoah Raptor Study Area. By working with master banders Lance and Jill Morrow, S2S will strive to repair and replace 40 nest boxes in the area to prepare for the breeding season in 2025.
