S2S teams up with The Cornell Cooperative Extension and community stakeholders to tour Tilly Foster Farm in Brewster, New York.

The Cornell Cooperative Extension and a group of local ecologists and forestry experts have teamed up with Soldiers2Scientists to collaborate on a Reforestation and Rejuvenation Project at Tilly Foster Farm in Brewster, New York. S2S will be assisting a 15-year reforestation and regeneration project here through a grant from the New York Department of Environmental Conservation. Leveraging our partnerships with the VA and several veteran and community organizations, S2S will provide capacity to sustain a long term monitoring program and build out additional projects on the farm to offer the local community for years to come! S2S is incredibly excited about this important opportunity in New York!
