Bethanie Hall and True Spirit Crossfit in Bozeman, Montana host Fundraiser for the S2S 2025 EcoRecon Expedition at Great Basin National Park

Bethanie Hall, S2S EcoRecon Outpost Mountain States Coordinator, has organized a S2S fundraiser at True Spirit Crossfit in Bozeman, Montana. Bethanie is hosting a 1000 Step-Up Challenge for interested participants who can attend in person or virtually. The fundraiser is aimed at raising money for Soldiers2Scientists’s 2025 EcoRecon Expedition at Great Basin National Park. After the success of the 2024 EcoRecon Expedition, Executive Director Michael Cohn has coordinated with park biologists to plan another exciting citizen science expedition for August 2025. Former participants and veterans Ali Lewis and Angel Zervos have expressed an interested in returning in addition to two additional veterans who have joined the team. S2S is excited about this event. The expedition requires significant funding to get off the ground, and Bethanie’s efforts to host this fundraiser are critical to supporting our second expedition.
