S2S attends Avon Park Air Force Range Sentinel Landscape Land Expo

S2S attended the Avon Park Air Force Range Sentinel Landscape Land Expo in Central Florida to meet with conservation agencies and environmental enthusiasts to discuss potential citizen science project opportunities available at the range and surrounding areas. During this networking opportunity, Executive Director Michael Cohn and his assistant Adrian Stebbins met with officials from The Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission, Archbold Biological Station, and many other conservation entities to discuss our work and how we might be able to offer engaging citizen science projects for local veterans in the central Florida area.

S2S hopes to build a small program of projects and promote outreach in the area to help veterans learn more about the important work these conservation entities accomplish to protect Florida wildlife and habitats.
